Abstract

This article examines the concept and implementation of human resource management (HRM) within the context of Islamic education, focusing on two main areas: (1) the general definition and basic principles of HRM, and (2) the application of HRM in Islamic educational institutions. This study employs a library research method by collecting and analyzing various scholarly sources, including management books, academic journals, educational policy documents, and works relevant to Islamic education. The analysis is conducted qualitatively using a content analysis approach to explore the concepts, values, and practices involved in educational HRM. The findings indicate that HRM is a strategic process that includes planning, recruitment, training, evaluation, and workforce development in order to achieve organizational goals. In Islamic education, HRM is not only oriented toward efficiency and productivity but also emphasizes Islamic values such as trust (amanah), sincerity (ikhlas), and noble character (akhlakul karimah). The implementation of HRM based on Islamic values plays a significant role in shaping a harmonious work culture, improving the quality of education, and fostering the spiritual character of educators. This article recommends the importance of integrating modern management principles with Islamic values in managing human resources in educational institutions, to establish a high-quality, competitive, and spiritually rooted education system.
